We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pre-Sales Engineer to lead the technical sales process for our Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of data science principles, machine learning algorithms, and AI technologies, along with exceptional communication and presentation skills. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, showcasing the value of our solutions, and establishing strong relationships with potential clients. As an individual contributor, you will collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to drive revenue growth through your technical expertise. **Responsibilities:** **Technical Sales Expertise:** - Act as the primary technical point of contact for potential clients during the sales process. - Identify customer business challenges and translate them into technical solutions using our Data Science, ML, and AI offerings. - Create and deliver engaging presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept projects to highlight the benefits of our solutions. - Address technical inquiries and RFPs/RFIs with clear and accurate information. - Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and discovery sessions to understand client requirements. - Articulate the technical value proposition of our solutions and distinguish them from competitors. **Solution Development & Customization:** - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to customize solutions to meet specific customer needs. - Develop tailored demos and POCs to showcase our platform's capabilities. - Provide feedback to the product team regarding market trends and customer requirements to shape product roadmap decisions. **Sales Enablement:** - Develop and maintain sales collateral, including presentations, demos, case studies, and white papers. - Train the sales team on the technical aspects of our solutions and effective communication of their value. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI technologies. **Relationship Building:** - Establish and maintain strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at potential client organizations. - Represent the company at industry events and conferences. **Sales Strategy & Execution:** - Contribute to the development of sales strategies and tactics to meet revenue targets. - Monitor and report on pre-sales activities and performance metrics. - Collaborate closely with the sales team to qualify leads and close deals. **Qualifications:** **Experience:** - 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or consulting role focused on Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI solutions. - Proven track record of effectively supporting technical sales engagements and contributing to deal closures. **Technical Skills:** - Profound understanding of data science principles, machine learning algorithms, and AI technologies. - Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R. - Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn. - Knowledge of database technologies like SQL and NoSQL. **Soft Skills:** - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences. - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Capability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Sound business acumen and comprehension of sales processes. **Note:** Preferably looking for candidates who can join immediately or with a 15 days" notice period.
