Pre-Sales Engineer - ELV & Security Systems

You are a skilled Pre-Sales Estimation Engineer with 4-5 years of experience who will be responsible for designing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems and preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals for Yakkaservices in Thanjavur. Your key responsibilities include: - Design ELV systems based on project requirements and industry standards. - Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals for ELV projects. - Analyze tender documents, drawings, and project specifications to determine requirements. - Source and compare vendor pricing for ELV equipment and materials. - Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments for project feasibility. - Ensure compliance with NFPA, Indian Standards, and project requirements. - Collaborate with the sales and project teams to develop proposals. - Assist in value engineering to optimize costs while maintaining quality. - Maintain design and estimation records for future reference. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. - 5-10 years of experience in ELV design and estimation. - Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS, and Structured Cabling. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software. - Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.,
