Pre-sales Engineer

As a Pre-sales Engineer at Amadeus, you will play a crucial role in providing functional and technical pre-sales support to the Sales and Account Management teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting and selling Amadeus solutions throughout the customer cycle. Your responsibilities will include engaging in RFP/RFI processes and unsolicited proposals. You will be responsible for setting up project timelines, identifying resource requirements, and coordinating all inputs to ensure a comprehensive response. Additionally, you will produce solution-related documentation for IT customer proposals. In this role, you will plan and manage solution-oriented activities for IT bid projects, ensuring an effective handover to project implementation teams. You will also be involved in producing and delivering solution-related presentations, including product demonstrations, to showcase the value of the solutions to customers. Leading Technical Scoping workshops and collaborating with both Amadeus and customer senior management will be part of your scope definition and approval process responsibilities. You will work towards minimizing functional and technical gaps throughout the sales engagement and coordinate the approval process between customer and Amadeus groups. Your contribution to the Amadeus solution strategy will involve providing market and customer requirements to Marketing and Product Management for product qualification. The ideal candidate for this role will possess technical and functional expertise, understanding of the Amadeus business, and experience in similar roles in hotel webservices.
