🧾 1. About the Role

As a Pre-Sales Business Analyst at DBTech, you'll be the bridge between our clients and our delivery team. From the very first call to final deal closure, you’ll play a critical role in understanding business needs, proposing tailored solutions, and creating win-win proposals.

You won't just pitch — you’ll understand, analyze, and collaborate to deliver high-converting pre-sales solutions that help clients trust and choose DBTech.

📌 Roles and Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of initial client calls to understand project needs and objectives.
  • Conduct detailed requirement gathering and translate client needs into actionable insights.
  • Create and present well-structured proposals, estimations, and solution documentation.
  • Work closely with the tech, design, and project teams to finalize scope and timelines.
  • Draft clear and professional business documents, including BRDs, SOWs, and RFQs.
  • Handle client communication with clarity and confidence via email, chat, or video calls.
  • Conduct effective negotiations based on business value and delivery feasibility.
  • Manage the client funnel, ensuring timely follow-ups and moving leads toward closure.
  • Maintain accurate records of discussions, proposals, and progress using internal tools.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to align client expectations and solution positioning.

  • 1–2 years of experience in pre-sales, client handling, or business analysis.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, solution selling, and negotiation tactics.
  • Proven ability to conduct requirement analysis and document technical/non-technical specs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) for documentation, reporting, and proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — clarity and confidence are key.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask across clients and projects.
  • A proactive attitude and ownership mindset when it comes to client engagement.

  • Firefighter:- Can resolve early ambiguity and stabilize complex or vague project scopes quickly
