Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Curriculum & Lesson Planning:
Design and execute age-appropriate activities focusing on early literacy, numeracy, colors, shapes, and general awareness through stories, songs, and games.
Play-Based Learning:
Facilitate exploration, curiosity, and creative expression through art, music, crafts, and physical play to build fine and gross motor skills.
Social & Emotional Growth:
Guide children in learning to share, cooperate, express feelings, and resolve minor conflicts with empathy.
Safety, Care & Routine:
Establish predictable daily routines, manage snack and nap times, and maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment.
Progress Tracking & Assessment:
Observe and record developmental milestones, identifying areas where a child may need extra support.
Parent Communication:
Meet regularly or share updates with parents to ease separation anxiety, discuss progress, and align on the child's development.
Classroom Collaboration:
Work alongside assistant teachers, support staff, and school leadership to maintain school protocols.
