Job Title: Pre Primary School Teacher Location: St. Paul's International School, Alate,Kolhapur, India Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher to join the vibrant learning environment at St. Paul’s International School. The ideal candidate will foster a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom atmosphere for young learners in Nursery, LKG, and UKG. The teacher will play a crucial role in building foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, motor development, and socio-emotional growth, in alignment with the Early Childhood Education (ECE) framework and NEP 2020 guidelines. Creativity, patience, empathy, and a love for children are essential qualities for this role. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons using a play-way and activity-based learning approach. Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that supports holistic development. Design thematic and integrated lesson plans as per school curriculum and guidelines. Foster curiosity, creativity, independence, and social skills in young children. Use songs, storytelling, games, and hands-on materials to make learning joyful and meaningful. Observe, assess, and document each child’s progress and provide regular feedback to parents. Ensure classroom safety, hygiene, and well-being of all students. Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and the coordinator for smooth execution of activities. Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and parent interactions. Qualifications and Skills: Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Education / Montessori Training / D.Ed. or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is an added advantage. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a pre-primary setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English with good command over spoken and written language. A nurturing attitude with the ability to handle young children with care and patience.
