Job Title: Pre-Primary Coordinator Department: Academics – Early Years Location: Bannerghatta Road,Bangalore 560076 Work Hours: 8am to 4pm Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Pre-Primary Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the academic and operational functioning of the pre-primary section. This role involves curriculum planning, teacher supervision, ensuring age-appropriate learning practices, parent communication, and supporting the holistic development of early learners in alignment with the school's vision. Key Responsibilities: Academic Leadership: Plan, implement, and review pre-primary curriculum in line with NEP/ECCE guidelines or school board standards. Guide teachers in lesson planning, teaching methodologies, and learning outcomes. Monitor classroom activities to ensure child-centered and play-based learning. Introduce innovative practices and learning resources for skill development (motor, sensory, language, emotional). Teacher Supervision & Development: Mentor and support pre-primary teachers through regular classroom observations and feedback. Organize and lead training sessions/workshops to enhance teacher competencies. Facilitate team meetings to discuss classroom challenges, student progress, and best practices. Student Development: Oversee student assessment systems, ensure timely evaluations and progress reports. Promote inclusive and nurturing learning environments for all children. Address behavioral, developmental, or learning concerns in consultation with parents and specialists if needed. Parent Interaction: Serve as the point of contact for pre-primary parent queries or concerns. Conduct parent orientations, PTMs, and provide regular updates on child progress. Collaborate with parents to create consistent learning and behavioral expectations at home and school. Administrative & Operational Duties: Ensure proper implementation of health, hygiene, and safety protocols in the pre-primary wing. Coordinate with admin/support staff for classroom needs, materials, and event support. Plan and oversee execution of events, celebrations, and field trips for pre-primary students. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy and child development Leadership and team management abilities Excellent verbal and written communication Empathy, patience, and creativity Organizational and problem-solving skills Familiarity with digital tools and early learning software (optional) Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
