About the Role We’re seeking a creative and impact-driven Copywriter who can craft compelling, conversion-oriented copy across multiple platforms. In this role, you’ll shape powerful narratives, create persuasive ad and campaign content, and bring donor journeys to life with words. You’ll collaborate with designers, campaign strategists, and video editors to deliver copy that not only informs — but moves people to act. Key Responsibilities Write persuasive and emotionally resonant copy for digital ads, landing pages, donor emails, and social media campaigns. Craft high-converting headlines, CTAs, and marketing messages that drive clicks, and donations. Develop storytelling-based campaign content that connects audiences to causes and builds trust in our platform. Collaborate with the video and design teams to script compelling videos, reels, and testimonials. Repurpose core narratives into snackable content for paid ads, organic posts, banners, and short-form videos. Maintain and adapt Donatekart’s tone of voice — empathetic, human, transparent — across all assets. Work with the marketing team to brainstorm campaign ideas, hooks, and storytelling angles that boost engagement. Understand audience insights and user behavior to write content that supports conversion at every stage of the funnel. Conduct basic interviews with NGO reps or beneficiaries when needed to add authenticity and emotion to your copy. Support product and performance teams with impactful microcopy for buttons, push notifications, and WhatsApp/email automation. What We’re Looking For Must-Have Skills 1–3 years of experience as a copywriter, writer, or marketing writer (agency or in-house). Proven ability to write short-form copy that grabs attention and drives action. Excellent command over English with an understanding of tone, pacing, and persuasive techniques. Comfort working with creative briefs and translating brand strategy into strong messaging. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. Strong collaboration and communication skills with a solution-focused mindset. Good-to-Have Skills Experience writing for cause-driven or nonprofit campaigns. Familiarity with ad platforms (Meta, Google) and how creative copy impacts performance. SEO and keyword knowledge for web and blog content. Exposure to tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, Meta Business Suite, or email marketing tools. A passion for social change and the ability to write with empathy and purpose. The video editor should have a knack at storytelling and a passion to tell stories in the form of qualitative videos would be an advantage. As a Video Editor at Donatekart, you will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw material into a most suitable, finished product ready for marketing and broadcasting. 2. With video being the most effective way for communicating stories on online platforms, your position will play an important role in the company's success. 3. The material that you might work with may include raw camera footage, photographs, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. 4. Creating VFX elements from scratch as & when necessary for any given project. 5. Communicate & coordinate with Graphic designers and Video producers to deliver the most effective product.
