PR Executive Web3 and Crypto

As a PR Executive specializing in Web3 and Crypto Media, you will play a crucial role in leading narratives for emerging Web3, blockchain, and crypto-first brands. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute high-performing PR campaigns for Web3/crypto clients, covering strategy, outreach, and execution. Collaboration with the founder is key as you work together to build PR strategies, shape compelling stories, and enhance visibility for clients across traditional business and emerging Web3 media platforms. Your duties will include developing engaging narratives, founder stories, and thought leadership angles tailored to the crypto, tech, and business press. You will take charge of media outreach by identifying key publications, journalists, podcasts, and Web3-native outlets. Additionally, you will be responsible for producing press releases, op-eds, media briefs, speaker bios, and POV documents with speed and clarity. Keeping abreast of media trends in blockchain, DAOs, DeFi, and Layer 1/2 ecosystems will be essential to inform your pitches effectively. Collaboration with content, design, and strategy teams is crucial to align PR efforts with broader campaign objectives. Maintaining and expanding relationships with media professionals across Web2 and Web3 geographies will also be part of your role, enhancing the visibility and reach of your clients. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 4+ years of experience in PR, with a background in B2B, DeepTech, or Tech industries. Prior exposure to crypto, blockchain, or Web3 clients is considered a strong advantage. Demonstrated success in securing coverage in Tier-1 business, tech, or Web3 publications is highly desirable. Strong writing skills, the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, and proactive media outreach strategies are essential qualities for success in this role. Having a journalism or editorial background, existing media contacts in the global Web3/crypto ecosystem, or experience working with tech founders, VCs, or ecosystem players are considered nice-to-have qualifications that would further strengthen your candidacy.
