PPIC Executive

Job Summary:

The PPIC Executive will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling production and inventory activities to ensure timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and effective material management. The role requires coordination between production, procurement, stores, and sales departments to maintain smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to meet delivery targets.
  
• Track production progress and adjust plans based on actual output and material availability.
  
• Ensure production plans align with customer orders and forecast requirements.
  

Inventory Control

• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods.
  
• Maintain optimum stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  
• Coordinate with the procurement team for timely material replenishment.
  
• Conduct periodic inventory reconciliation and variance analysis.
  

Material Management

• Prepare Material Requirement Plans (MRP) based on production schedules.
  
• Ensure timely issuance of materials to production.
  
• Liaise with suppliers and stores to manage incoming and outgoing material flow.
  

Coordination & Reporting

• Communicate with sales and logistics teams regarding delivery schedules and status updates.
  
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production and inventory performance.
  
• Identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions for planning and process improvements.
  

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and material management principles.
  
• Proficiency in ERP / MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
  
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
  
• Proficient in MS Excel and other reporting tools.

Educational Qualification:

• BSc or MSc Chemistry or related field experience.
  
• Additional certification in Supply Chain Management or Production Planning is an added advantage.
