As the Production Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing activities in the pharma API industry. With 15 to 19 years of experience, you will be based at the Sandhurst Road Mumbai head office with a salary of 15 lpa. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing, approving, and distributing work instructions for manufacturing activities. You will ensure the production activities align with the production plan and make decisions regarding new batch production. Monitoring batch processes and reviewing online documentation such as BMR, BPRs, logbooks, and daily records will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will be in charge of qualifying production equipment, participating in validation activities, and checking the quality system within the production department. It will be your responsibility to prepare equipment master lists, qualification plans, and review documents like MFRs, BMRs, BPRs, SOPs, and formats. You will also play a crucial role in evaluating and investigating production deviations, market complaints, and initiating change control requests when necessary. Ensuring proper segregation of materials, labeling, area cleaning, and disinfection will be essential tasks. Additionally, you will monitor production yields, conduct training for production personnel, and handle manpower allocation effectively. Your role will involve internal and external audit preparations, compliance with technical audit requirements, cGMP documentation, procurement of new machines and equipment, shift scheduling, and personnel management. Moreover, you will collaborate with other departments such as warehouse, quality control, and engineering as needed. Maintaining batch uniformity, integrity of drug products, and compliance with safety and environmental management systems will be critical aspects of your responsibilities. You will also participate in investigations, preparation of CAPA, equipment verification, labeling, packing activities, re-processing, and compliance with cGMP norms.
