Role & responsibilities: Manage and maintain the inventory of raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods. Receive incoming materials and verify quality and quantity against purchase orders. Issue materials to production as per requirement and maintain accurate stock levels. Ensure proper documentation for receipts and dispatches (GRN, Challan, etc.). Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with system records. Maintain stock records using ERP systems or manual registers. Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed for inventory rotation. Coordinate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams. Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and comply with safety standards. Monitor stock levels and notify purchasing when reordering is needed. Handle scrap and rejected material as per company policies. Key Skills Required: Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.). Basic understanding of material safety and handling procedures. Good communication and coordination skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word). Educational Qualification: Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Logistics / Supply Chain / Mechanical). Certification in store/inventory management is an advantage. Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in store or inventory management in a manufacturing setup.
