You will be responsible for managing and directing all sales aspects within the Business Division for India. This includes handling quotations, contracts, pricing, receivables, credit/debit processing, budgeting, forecasting, and strategy. Additionally, you will provide support to Key Account Managers (KAM) in customer meetings and executing necessary actions. Your key responsibilities will revolve around sales strategy and pricing, supporting price negotiations, and ensuring profitability through price increases. Market development tasks include market mapping, tracking, and analyzing sales figures. You will be involved in managing enquiries and quotations, conducting plausibility checks of incoming RFQs, coordinating quotes within Schaeffler India team and Global teams, and finalizing prices. Moreover, you will reconcile costs, compare Schaeffler Price vs Market Prices, and offer appropriate prices to KAMs and customers. Coordinating and approving business points in customer contracts, assessing risk levels for new projects, and collaborating closely with GKAM / KAM team for product promotion across various powertrain typologies will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will be tasked with deriving synergies with common customers across BD Powertrain Solutions, Engine & Transmission, and Chassis. Your goal will be to grow strategic segments such as Medium/Heavy Duty, Off-Road, 2-Wheeler, and New Mobility Player, while maximizing the opportunity pipeline and order intake to secure sustainable profitability levels. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of fifteen years of work experience, a four-year degree in business or engineering, and previous experience as an automotive account manager or sales manager. Knowledge of mechatronics and ECUs is also required.
