What you will do Powertrain Engineering (PE) in Bangalore was created as a satellite office in 2014.In 2016, the team grew in competence and capabilities to become an application center for UD. Since 2021, PE Bangalore has been repositioning to be recognized as a competent and innovative site within global Powertrain Engineering and GTT Bangalore providing end to end engineering solutions to all brands. The technology team- Electronical & Electronics is key in driving future powertrain development. Who are you As Group Manager of this team, you will be reporting to Director Base Engine, Driveline, Electrical & Electronics (E&E). Leading Team: Coach team members in the daily activities and secure necessary pre-requisites for a successful execution of responsibilities In charge of training plan, salary evolution proposal, talent mapping assessment proposal and all other administrative activities belonging to their team members Regular communication to the team on performance, strategies and operations Secure competence development strategy and coach the team members on their personal development Ready for the next move You have broad technical knowledge with a deep interest in developing & leading the team that provides a strong technical leadership for Powertrain Architecture, Requirements Management, On-Board Diagnostics, Communication with Vehicle and Diagnostics Strategies, HiL, SiL. 12+ years of diverse experience in automotive engineering environment, ideally with an engineering education. Good hands-on experience in embedded systems, Electrical/electronic engineering, SW, Functional development, Diagnostics, HiL, SiL. Good knowledge of medium and heavy vehicle products application. You are able to create organization-wide energy and optimism for the future; create milestones for technology decisions and articulate the vision in a way everyone can relate to You demonstrate courage and integrity - Face difficult issues and support others who do the same.
