Technical leadership: Provide and drive technical expertise in designing and developing powertrain components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Cross Functional Team Management: Lead cross-functional teams in integrating and validating powertrain systems. Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to drive and conclude the product requirements. Design and Development: Design and develop powertrain components. Strong expertise in design of casting components. Plans and formulates own work flow and that of others to meet specified deadlines. Mentor and drive junior engineers to provide required deliverables. Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. PROFILE Minimum Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering. Minimum 8 years of experience in Mechanical design and development of Automotive Powertrain. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles. Expertise in powertrain system and emission controls. PTC Creo Parametric experience is must. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English
