The incumbent in the role of Powertrain DVP at Hero Motocorp in Jaipur will be responsible for defining the validation plan for the EV powertrain system and components. This critical role involves ensuring Quality, Compliance, and Testing in products by designing and managing comprehensive system-level and component-level validation plans, adhering to performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and coordinating test plans, working on powertrain requirements, troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), as well as adhering to standards and guidelines. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.E/ B.Tech degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in powertrain validation for relevant EV/HEV projects, automotive EV development, development of powertrain components, and embedded system design. Additionally, you should possess wide-ranging knowledge in powertrain architecture, power and energy flow, safety mechanisms, EV powertrain components validation, testing automation, test reporting, requirements management tools, troubleshooting, RCA skills, DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA analysis, and the usage of DSO, power supplies, and electronic measurement tools. Hands-on experience with Vector tools like CANoe, CAPL, CANalyzer, and knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) will be advantageous. An understanding of Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and capabilities is also preferred.
