As a Commissioning Lead for power/energy projects, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Leading the commissioning process for power/energy projects from start to finish, ensuring all systems are fully operational and meet performance standards. - Developing and implementing commissioning strategies, plans, and schedules to achieve project milestones. - Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to coordinate commissioning activities and resolve any issues that may arise. - Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of commissioning activities. - Overseeing the testing and troubleshooting of power systems, equipment, and controls to identify and address any operational deficiencies. - Providing technical guidance and support to project teams during the commissioning phase, including training and knowledge transfer. - Preparing comprehensive commissioning reports, documentation, and as-built drawings for handover to operations and maintenance teams. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices throughout the commissioning process. - Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize commissioning processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall project efficiency. - Leading post-commissioning reviews and lessons learned sessions to capture key insights and drive future project performance improvements. In order to qualify for this role, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Advanced degree preferred. - Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. - 20+ years of experience in the field.
