The Senior Developer Visual Analytics role in Bangalore requires 4-7 years of experience in PowerBI development, maintenance, and troubleshooting. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of PowerBI dashboards and analytics solutions. Your primary focus will be on maintenance, monitoring, and implementing small-scale improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency. You will conduct daily checks on scheduled data processes to ensure timely delivery and accuracy. Additionally, you will verify PowerBI dashboards and analytics tools before HQs business hours to preempt issues and collaborate with backend teams to monitor data pipelines and flag discrepancies. In the event of data accuracy, completeness, or visualization errors in PowerBI dashboards, you will address and resolve these issues promptly. You will also investigate and fix dashboard performance issues such as slow load times and broken visuals, escalating complex problems to the Lead Developer when necessary. As part of your responsibilities, you will perform small-scale updates to existing PowerBI dashboards, ensuring they adhere to global design standards and undergo proper testing. Furthermore, you will assist in updating documentation such as user guides and data dictionaries to facilitate better adoption. Collaboration with the Lead Developer is crucial in aligning on fixes and improvements. You will also share learnings and PowerBI best practices within the teams to promote knowledge sharing. The ideal candidate for this role should have hands-on experience with data modeling, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data pipelines. Proficiency in PowerBI, familiarity with data quality checks, and basic SQL querying skills are essential technical skills required. Additionally, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and good communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams are desired soft skills. An educational background in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field such as a University/Engineering degree is preferred for this position. Experience with Tableau is a plus.,
