As a Power Platform Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Power Apps, Power Automate, Data Verse, and Power BI solutions to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and business intelligence. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with organizational security and governance policies. Key Responsibilities In the realm of Power Apps, you will design and develop customized solutions to align with business needs. This includes integrating Power Apps with various data sources like SharePoint, Dynamics, and SQL Server. Your focus will also involve maintaining adherence to security and governance policies while providing training and support to stakeholders. Within Power Automate, your tasks will revolve around crafting automated workflows using the platform. Integration with applications and services such as Office 365, Dynamics, and Azure will be essential. Similar to Power Apps, you will need to ensure compliance with security and governance policies, gather requirements, and deliver training and support to relevant parties. When working with Data Verse, your responsibilities will extend to designing and implementing data models and entities. You will integrate Data Verse with diverse data sources like Dynamics, SharePoint, and SQL Server while upholding data quality, integrity, and compliance with security and governance policies. Collaboration with stakeholders for requirements gathering and training will also be crucial. In the domain of Power BI, you will design and develop reports and dashboards tailored to meet business requirements. Integration with data sources such as Dynamics, SharePoint, and SQL Server will be part of your role. Upholding security and governance policies, gathering requirements, and offering training and support to stakeholders will round out your responsibilities. Requirements To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 4+ years of experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Data Verse, and Power BI is essential. Your strong understanding of the Power Platform, analytical prowess, problem-solving skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be key to success. Experience with Azure, Dynamics, and SharePoint, along with knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence, is required. Certification in Power Apps, Power Automate, Data Verse, or Power BI is preferred, as is familiarity with agile development methodologies and cloud-based technologies and services. Soft Skills Your soft skills should encompass strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills will further enhance your effectiveness in this role. Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have) Having certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate (PL-100), Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), and Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) would be beneficial for this position.
