Job Title: Senior Electrical Design Engineer / Lead Building Services Location: Bangalore, India Job Type: Full-time Travel: Occasional short-term travel to GCC countries Industry: MEP Consultancy / Building Services Engineering Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead the electrical design function for multi high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong consultancy background, demonstrated leadership in managing design teams, and in-depth knowledge of Gulf and international electrical standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the electrical design for multiple high-rise projects across residential, commercial, hospital, and hospitality sectors. Supervise and guide a team of 56 electrical engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Structural, Architectural, and Infrastructure disciplines. Interface directly with clients, represent the company in technical discussions, and ensure expectations are managed and delivered effectively. Ensure designs adhere to Gulf codes (DEWA/SEWA/FEWA/ADDC/KSA) and international standards (IEC/BS). Oversee and contribute to space planning , schematic development, and detailed design documentation. Conduct feasibility studies , prepare detailed technical reports , and develop project specifications . Support project delivery by troubleshooting issues during design and construction phases, offering practical and timely solutions. Present designs and technical concepts effectively to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Support business growth through technical excellence and knowledge-sharing within the team. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on MEP consulting. Proven track record of leading electrical design for large-scale, high-rise projects. In-depth understanding of Gulf region electrical codes (DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, ADDC, KSA) and international standards (IEC, BS). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle client-facing roles confidently. Proficiency in space planning and coordination with other building services. Willingness to relocate to Bangalore and travel to GCC countries as required. Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with Revit , Dialux Evo , and ETAP for system studies and lighting design. Experience preparing technical presentations , design briefs, and feasibility assessments. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Calculation Electrical Load Calculations, Panel design, Circuit breaker size, Transformer size, DG size, UPS size, Cable size, Cable-tray & Raceway size, earthing size, building earthing, Preparation of BOQ in the respective area. Must have the expertise to develop new electrical systems for various applications. Apply analysis, design, and cost criteria throughout the designs. Fire alarm, Public address, Access control, CCTV, WLD. Rodent. Note-Candidate has the capability to perform calculation on above design requirement & familiar with the code (IS, NBC. NFPA). 2. Skills & Qualification Required: Good knowledge of CAD software (2016,2018,2020, 2021). Good Knowledge of MS office of latest version. Open to learn new things which help to improve productivity.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop BIM models for MEP services from design stage (LOD 300) to as-built (LOD 500) stage and coordinate between all other services. • Ability to generate various Mechanical layouts, sections, elevations and details Clash detection and coordination using Navisworks • Responsible for assisting the BIM leads and Senior BIM Modelers. • Responsible for the quality and quantity of work done. • Report to the Senior BIM Modelers and BIM leads. • Raise potential issues in project then and there to the Senior BIM Modelers and BIM leads. • Documentation of the project files. • Direct responsibilities given during the course of time by managers. • Extract BOQ from the REVIT file.

Preparation of shop drawings/ construction drawing for cable tray, lighting, power layout, single line diagram (SLD), Earthing layout, Lighting layout, Fire alarm plan, section and its installation details. 10. Developing the layout plans, Preparing detailed Engineering DWG from engineers sketches. 11. 12. 13. Knowledge of ELV, CCTV, Fire alarm & Public announcement. Preparing quantity takeoff for BOQ. Knowledge of Revit can be an added advantage.
