Proficiency in designing interfaces using Bus communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and RS232 is required. You should also have experience with High-Speed I/Os like PCIe, Memory (DDRx, LPDDRx), MIPI C-PHY/D-PHY, USB3.0/USB4.0, and Ethernet interfaces. Expertise in EDA tools, particularly Cadence PCB tools, is necessary, along with experience in simulation tools like PSPICE/LTSPICE. Hands-on lab experience using Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters (DMM), spectrum analyzers, and Debugger tools is preferred. A fundamental knowledge of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity is essential, and familiarity with SI/PI simulation tools like Hyperlynx, Sigrity, Ansys, and ADS is an additional advantage. A good understanding of EMI/EMC standards for industrial and Class A products is beneficial. You should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics to qualify for this role. As a Hardware Engineer at Common Hardware Group (CHG) Power, you will be a part of a central team dedicated to supporting power design across a variety of products, such as Cisco 8000 Series Routers, Catalyst 9000 switches, IoT devices, and more. In this role, you will collaborate with different functions including Hardware Design and Test, ASIC Design and Test, Power Engineering, Signal Integrity, EMC / EMI, and Mechanical Design.
