Power BI Developer

You will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize complex data sets and provide actionable insights. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for Power BI solutions. - Interacting with clients over calls to understand and implement their requirements. - Implementing data modeling best practices to ensure optimal performance and scalability of Power BI solutions. - Creating and optimizing DAX queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and APIs. - Conducting thorough testing and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner. - Developing Paginated reports and working on relational modules. - Working closely with data engineers and business analysts to integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI for comprehensive analysis. - Maintaining documentation of Power BI solutions, including data models, report specifications, and user guides. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. - 4 to 5 years of experience in developing Power BI solutions, including data modeling, report development, and dashboard design. - Expertise in writing MS SQL queries. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. - SQL competence and a grasp of database structure are required. - Knowledge of different MS SQL data storage techniques. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies. - Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Prior experience in client interaction is an added advantage. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
