Job Description

Role: PowerBI Developer Remote Job Description: The consultant is responsible for the implementation of a new Power BI solution that connects to strategic reconciliation platform. A mixture of technical and business analysis skills will be required. Key responsibilities: Work with the enterprise systems and reconciliations SMEs in order to install Power BI and retrieve reporting data from the vendors database Design and develop visualizations/dashboards and reports to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders Document the report build and publishing procedure for governance and training purposes Build reports to provide MI to the Operations Control department Training of Operations and IT SMEs in report building Produce project documentation, for example BRD's, functional and non-functional requirements and process models Key Skills: Proven ability in BI and Analytics tools (Power BI preferred), building reports via similar tools e.g. Power BI, Crystal Reports, Business Objects Ability to query and write database scripts via MSSQL or other technologies such as Mongo Ability to create data models to visualize and drive the dashboards or reports Clear communication with IT and Business teams to take feedback and refine the data reports Ability to write clear runbooks and procedures for training other staff
