Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Powder Coating Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our in-house 11-tank powder coating plant. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in pre-treatment processes, powder application, quality control, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Powder Coating Plant Operations
Supervise the complete 11-tank pre-treatment process (degreasing, rinsing, phosphating, water wash, passivation, etc.).
Monitor conveyor line speed, curing oven temperature, and loading/unloading operations.
Ensure correct chemical concentration levels in each tank; maintain records.
2. Production & Planning
Plan daily coating schedule as per production plan for cable trays, racks, and accessories.
Allocate manpower to loading, spraying, curing, and packing areas.
Ensure minimum downtime and smooth workflow.
3. Quality Control
Inspect surface preparation, coating thickness, adhesion, and finish quality.
Ensure coating meets required standards (micron thickness, shade, texture).
Identify coating defects (orange peel, pinholes, poor adhesion) and take corrective action.
4. Maintenance & Housekeeping
Coordinate preventive maintenance for spray guns, booths, ovens, blowers, and conveyor.
Maintain cleanliness of tanks, booths, and surrounding area.
Check water quality, filter condition, and equipment functionality daily.
5. Chemical Handling & Safety
Monitor chemical consumption and maintain stock of pretreatment chemicals and powder.
Ensure safe handling of chemicals and powder as per SOPs.
Conduct safety checks for PPE usage, fire safety, and ventilation.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain tank log sheets, chemical records, micron reports, rejection reports, and daily production reports.
Coordinate with QC department for approval of coated material.
Education
ITI / Diploma / Any technical qualification (preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates)
Experience Must
3–7 years of experience in powder coating plant Supervising

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
