As a Patent Attorney (PQ or FQ) specialized in Digital (Physics) at EIP Digital, your role will involve working with a diverse range of technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence, machine learning models, mathematical modeling, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, acoustics, statistical analysis, cryptography, quantum computing, and post-quantum techniques. You will be part of a dynamic team that excels in patent drafting, strategic patent prosecution, and handling high-tech patent litigation cases. EIP Digital is known for its extensive experience in handling patent matters related to computer hardware, software, machine learning/AI, electronics, wireless and telecommunications, applied physics, and optics. The team is involved in high-profile patent litigation cases in the UK and Germany, as well as oppositions at the EPO. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies at the forefront of innovation, such as electronics and health-tech, AI, and drug discovery. In this permanent full-time role at EIP Digital, you will have the flexibility to work three days in the office and two days from home. The ideal candidate should possess a strong educational background in mathematics, physics, computer science, or engineering, with a preference for a 1st Class Degree at the Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate level. Although a PhD qualification is preferred, candidates with exceptional skills and knowledge in handling math-heavy technologies will also be considered. Successful candidates for this position should thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent academic achievements, along with exceptional written and oral communication skills. You should be able to articulate complex ideas clearly, interact effectively with individuals at various levels, and balance intellectual property law knowledge with commercial requirements. Additionally, attention to detail, analytical thinking, initiative, and the ability to manage workload independently are essential qualities for this role.
