As the Lead Promo Editor at DAZN Creative India, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of live sport by communicating with a global audience using some of the biggest sporting rights in the world. DAZN is a disruptive force in the sports broadcasting industry, and your creative skills will be instrumental in driving the organization forward. The ideal candidate for this position is a proven short-form promo editor with a strong reel of work, comfortable working with archive and shot footage, and experienced in broadcast and/or agency creative. Additionally, you should possess excellent editing capabilities, storytelling skills, and a good understanding of the latest industry trends. As the Lead Editor, you will not only manage editing assignments but also inspire and train edit teams. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to a team of editors, manage multiple editing assignments concurrently, and ensure projects are completed on time. Your responsibilities will also include offering creative direction to various teams with diverse business needs across different media types. Collaboration with producers to make technical decisions, maintaining project deadlines, and communicating project concerns are essential aspects of this position. To excel in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in video/media production, a strong knowledge of post-production processes and software like Adobe Creative Cloud, and prior experience leading a team of video professionals. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are crucial, along with proficiency in professional office software. A demo reel or examples of your work will be advantageous. If you have a bachelor's degree in a related field, advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and DaVinci Resolve, it will be considered a plus. Moreover, the ability to collaborate with remote team members, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with project management software will further enhance your suitability for this role.
