Job Description

Job Responsibilities and Skills Experience with AWS CLI and AWS RDS. Standard DBA operations such as monitoring, query optimization, cost optimization, tuning, backup/restore, and blue/green deployments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exposure to agile practices and working with agile software development teams. Availability for pager-duty on call. Nice to Have Scripting and/or programming experience to automate standard DB tasks/operations. Cross-region replication in AWS and/or other cloud environments. Experience with data quality and data observability aspects of data management and working with the data analytics team. Knowledge of Percona toolkit. Knowledge of pg/SQL.
