Job Summary: AlphaStream.ai is seeking an experienced Database Developer who is looking for an opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial, high-growth, enthusiastic environment. You will gain significant experience within our Data Engineering Team, helping to both maintain and improve existing data pipeline processes as well as develop new ones. To be considered for this position, you must have demonstrated experience in the areas described in the following sections. Requirement: Experience in database design, normalization, query design, performance tuning Proficient in writing complex SQL code Proficient in query tuning Experience in writing stored procedures, functions, views and triggers Provide authentication and authorizations for Database Develop best practices for database design and development activities Experience in database migration activities Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills Desired skills and experience in: PostgreSQL MSSQL MySQL or any other open-source RDBMS Knowledge of Python programming would be an added advantage Knowledge of Power BI would be an added advantage Personal Competencies Great attention to detail, proactive, results-oriented problem solver. Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines Fail fast mentality and thrive to succeed based on the learnings Quick learner with minimal guidance Collaboration with various stakeholders and teams Effective verbal and written communication skills Strong communication skills and ability to translate highly complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
