As a Video Editor, your role involves manipulating and editing film pieces seamlessly to ensure a captivating viewing experience for the audience. You will collaborate with the production team by grasping their needs and specifications to deliver high-quality edited footage. Reviewing shooting scripts and raw material will be essential for creating a shot decision list that enhances scene value and continuity. Your responsibilities will also include trimming footage segments, sequencing them effectively, and incorporating music, dialogs, graphics, and effects. It is crucial to stay updated with the latest editing technologies and industry best practices to enhance efficiency continuously. Key Responsibilities: - Take a brief from the production team and understand their requirements - Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value - Trim footage segments and arrange the sequence of the film - Add music, dialogs, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall quality - Stay updated with new editing technologies and industry best practices Qualifications Required: - Any PG/UG Graduates - Minimum 1 year of video editing and post-production experience - Deep understanding of digital trends and editing principles - Bachelor's degree in Film or related field - Proven work experience as a Video Editor - Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages - Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing - Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio - Creative mind and storytelling skills,
