Key Skills & Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in executing and validating scheme compliance tests for major card networks, including Visa, Mastercard, and others. - Ability to design, execute, and document detailed test cases for complex financial transactions. - Proficiency in logging, tracking, and prioritizing issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM. - Strong ability to validate financial data using SQL queries in databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL. - Solid understanding of PCI DSS, EMV, PSD2, ISO 20022, ISO 8583, and SWIFT protocols. - Ability to validate cross-border transactions, multi-currency processing, tax handling, and compliance reporting. - Expertise in using Agile delivery toolsets such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Bugzilla, etc. - Experience with test management tools like TestRail, QTest to organize and manage test cases. - Familiarity with mobile testing tools and frameworks like Appium, Espresso for iOS and Android applications. Soft Skills: - Highly impactful communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) to effectively interact with stakeholders. - High precision in validating financial transactions, calculations, and reports. - Ability to detect hidden issues in financial workflows and suggest improvements. - Independent work ethic, strong communication skills for effective team mentoring, and handling. - Excellent proficiency in the English language for mentoring junior team members. - Ability to work autonomously and produce high-quality outputs with minimal daily interventions. - Demonstrates leadership qualities and can mentor the team as needed. - Professionalism, positivity, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information. - Ownership of enhancing QA processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Primary Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to validate requirements and assess risk. - Provide detailed test reports, defect analysis, and risk assessments to stakeholders. - Perform manual functional testing for transaction processing, reconciliation, ledger validation, invoice generation, fee calculation, and taxation rules. - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, security testing, API & backend testing, performance & failure scenario testing, defect management & risk reporting, UAT support, and production validation. Mandatory Pre-requisites: - Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. - Experience working for International clients and projects with cross-cultural audiences. - Exposure to performance testing tools and security testing practices. - Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments. - Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate tasks, and ensure timely delivery of test reports.
