As a general porter / security professional, you will be responsible for carrying out portering and security duties on a daily basis to ensure the efficient, effective, and safe service to wards, departments, patients, and delivering the highest standard of service (portering / security) within the NTC site. You should have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team or independently, follow instructions diligently, and possess strong communication skills. Being able to respond effectively to unpredictable situations and work well under pressure are essential qualities for this role. Successful candidates will need to meet the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout their employment. A valid driving license is a requirement for this position as driving a van up to 3.5 tonnes and smaller portering / security vehicles is expected. Ideal applicants will be well-educated, maintain a smart appearance, and demonstrate excellent customer communication skills.
