As the Production Manager at Radici Plastics India Pvt. Ltd., your primary responsibility is to ensure the productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of the production process. You will be tasked with overseeing the production activities to meet the set goals and deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments to achieve production, quality, and safety targets. Your key responsibilities include planning and executing production schedules provided by the Production Planning and Control (PPC) department, directing and coordinating the activities of the Production Department, and ensuring effective utilization of resources, including manpower. You will be required to implement safety measures, monitor performance indicators, analyze process-based quality abnormalities, and take corrective and preventive actions as necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing SOPs/WIs, managing budget, eliminating process failures, analyzing breakdown root causes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with quality, maintenance, engineering, and PPC departments is essential to ensure smooth industrial processes. To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma in Chemical/Polymer or B.Sc. with CIPET/B-Tech/M.Sc./MTech in Polymer/Chemical, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Compounding Industry. Role-specific competencies such as Compounding Job Knowledge, Polymer Knowledge, Extruder Knowledge, Customer Focus, Achievement Orientation, Communication Skills, Leadership, and Analysis and Problem-Solving skills are crucial for success. Your ability to lead and develop operational and support teams, provide regular feedback, manage performance development, and promote teamwork will be vital in achieving business goals. Continual improvement in process waste reduction, data collection, and driving continuous improvement are integral aspects of this role. Keeping yourself updated with the latest industry developments and identifying developmental needs for self and the team are essential to enhance effectiveness. This position is based in Halol, and you will report to the Manufacturing Head at the Halol site.,
