Job Purpose To support the Engineering Manager in overseeing mechanical engineering and process planning activities, with a strong focus on build-to-print manufacturing, BOM preparation, and SAP-based routing for operations such as laser cutting, punching, welding, painting, and assembly. Key Responsibilities Interpret customer drawings and specifications for build-to-print manufacturing. Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) and define technical hours for each process step. Develop and maintain SAP routings for manufacturing operations including: Laser cutting CNC punching Welding (MIG/TIG/Spot) Surface treatment and painting Mechanical and electrical assembly Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and process efficiency. Optimize workflows and reduce cycle times through process engineering and lean principles. Support cost estimation and quotation activities with accurate process data. Train and mentor junior engineers in process planning and SAP usage. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer standards. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred). 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in build-to-print environments. Strong hands-on experience with SAP (BOM & Routing modules). Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and GD&T. Familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes. Experience in time studies and process documentation.
