Role Overview: You will be responsible for production scheduling, monitoring, reporting & MIS, along with having knowledge of molding machine specifications and selection for the required product. Your main responsibilities will include productivity improvements, preparing process parameters and other process documents, manpower allocation, ensuring adherence to quality systems, maintaining 5S and safety standards, managing secondary operations, coordinating maintenance of molding machines, troubleshooting molding issues, training and mentoring teams for optimum productivity, analyzing customer complaints and implementing corrective actions, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and more. Handle clearances for expansion projects and advocacy as needed. - Drive improvements to the governance of the environmental function across the group, including enhancing audit protocols and ways to improve the implementation of environmental requirements. **Desired Candidate:** - Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or Post Graduation in environmental science/management. - Over 15 years of experience in the environment and sustainability domain. - Exposure to global best practices in the natural resources sector (across Oil & Gas and Metal & Mining) or in a large manufacturing setup. - Strong background in Operational Excellence, HSE commitment, Global Benchmarking, Technology, and Digitalization. - Knowledge of environmental legislations and pollution prevention tools and techniques are required.,

Responsibilities Environmental Management System (EMS) Leadership: Develop, implement, and maintain a robust site-specific Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned with ISO 14001 standards and Adani Group policies. Ensure effective implementation of environmental policies, procedures, and programs across all site operations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the EMS. Regulatory Compliance & Liaising: Ensure complete compliance with all applicable local, state, and national environmental laws, egulations, permits, and standards (e.g., MoEF&CC, CPCB, SPCB guidelines). Act as the primary liaison with environmental regulatory bodies, government agencies, and other relevant authorities. Manage and submit all required environmental reports, returns, and statements accurately and on time. Proactively monitor changes in environmental legislation and update site practices accordingly. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) & Mitigation Oversee and guide environmental impact assessments for new projects or expansions, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Develop and implement effective environmental mitigation and management plans to minimize negative impacts on air, water, soil, biodiversity, and community. Lead initiatives related to pollution prevention, resource conservation, and waste management Monitoring & Performance Management: Establish and oversee environmental monitoring programs (air, water, noise, soil, etc.) to track performance and ensure compliance. Analyze environmental data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop and report on key environmental performance indicators (KPIs) to senior managemenT. Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to standards. Waste Management & Circular Economy Develop and implement comprehensive waste management strategies for hazardous and non-hazardous waste, promoting reduction, reuse, and recycling. Ensure proper disposal and management of waste as per regulatory guidelines. Explore and implement circular economy principles within site operations. Water & Energy Management: Drive initiatives for water conservation, efficient water usage, and wastewater treatment. Promote energy efficiency measures and support the integration of renewable energy sources where applicable. Biodiversity & Community Engagement: Oversee biodiversity management plans and conservation efforts, especially in ecologically sensitive areas. Engage with local communities on environmental matters, addressing concerns and fostering positive relationships. Support CSR initiatives related to environmental sustainability. Risk Management & Emergency Preparedness: Identify potential environmental risks and develop robust mitigation strategies. Participate in the development and maintenance of environmental emergency response plans, including conducting drills and exercises. Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of environmental professionals. Foster a strong environmental awareness and safety culture among all employees and contractors at the site. Develop and deliver environmental training programs. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, HR, Legal, Safety) and external partners (contractors, vendors, consultants).
