Job Summary: The Field Campaigner is responsible for planning and executing grassroots outreach activities to support the goals of Organization. This role involves mobilizing community members, organizing events, and building public support for the campaign’s objectives. The ideal candidate is energetic, persuasive, and passionate about driving change through direct community engagement. Key Responsibilities: Outreach and Mobilization: Conduct door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and street outreach. Engage with community members to inform them about the campaign and gain their support. Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and supporters. Event Coordination: Organize and facilitate community events, rallies, public forums, and other campaign-related activities. Represent the campaign at public gatherings, meetings, and outreach events. Communication and Reporting: Report daily on field activities, including outreach metrics and feedback. Maintain accurate records of contacts and campaign interactions. Provide updates and insights to the campaign leadership team. Partnership Building: Build relationships with local organizations, influencers, and stakeholders. Collaborate with coalition partners and support joint outreach initiatives. Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. (Tamil and English is must) Passion for activism, social justice, or the campaign’s specific cause. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience in community organizing, canvassing, or political campaigns is a plus. Comfortable with public speaking and engaging strangers. Proficient in using mobile devices and basic digital tools for data tracking. Able to work outdoors and on your feet for several hours per day. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. Prior campaign, canvassing, or outreach experience is a plus but not required. Must be reliable and punctual. Contract Duration: 8-10 Months Temporary Contract role. Salary - 12000 to 18000 Food, Travel, accommodation allowances provided.
