About PRI The Policy & Research Initiative (PRI) is an emerging think tank and data-driven research organization committed to advancing evidence-based public policy, social equity, and sustainable development in Kerala. We work at the intersection of research, data, and advocacy —translating complex insights into actionable public discourse and institutional reform. Role Overview We’re seeking a creative and research-oriented Content Writer to craft impactful narratives around our policy research, institutional projects, and community initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to convert technical data into engaging, accessible content. Key Responsibilities Develop high-quality written content for reports, articles, press releases, blogs, newsletters, and social media. Collaborate with researchers and data teams to translate research findings into clear, compelling stories for diverse audiences. Support the development of institutional communication materials — including brochures, presentations, and donor outreach content. Ensure consistency of tone, clarity, and brand voice across all PRI publications and media channels. Conduct background research to strengthen content accuracy and context. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Social Sciences, or related fields. 1–3 years of experience in content writing, research communication, or editorial work (fresh graduates with strong portfolios may apply). Excellent command of English (Malayalam proficiency is an added advantage). Familiarity with policy, governance, or social sector themes preferred. Experience using MS Office / Google Docs / Canva / WordPress or similar publishing tools. What We Value A passion for evidence-based policy and social impact.
