Job Title: Senior Manager Production Location: Sari, Ahmedabad Education: B.E. Mechanical / B.Tech Experience: 1315 years in Production, with expertise in sub-assembly and assembly process setup, preferably in textile machinery/components manufacturing Salary: Up to 15 LPA Key Responsibilities: Process & Methodology Development Design, implement, and document processes for new products, ensuring optimal efficiency and quality. Review and improve existing methods using lean principles and ergonomics. Conduct time studies for new manufacturing and assembly processes and implement optimization measures. Continuous Improvement & Cost Saving Identify non-value-added activities and implement solutions with cross-functional teams. Reduce overall process time through low-cost automation and small improvements. Develop and implement Poka-Yoke systems for assembly and machining processes. Jigs/Fixtures & Resource Planning Design and develop new jigs/fixtures; improve existing ones. Ensure availability of critical spare parts in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Training & Development Conduct on-the-job training and develop operators for critical workstations. Build technical skills through structured training programs and one-point lessons. Performance Metrics Achieve production establishment targets. Drive process improvement strategies for the business unit. Reduce operational losses and implement cost-saving activities. Develop and retain skilled talent in the production team. Required Competencies: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and process development. Expertise in time study and problem-solving techniques. Strategic thinking with resource planning skills. Proven ability to execute operational excellence initiatives.
