Podcast Video & Audio Editor

About the Role:

What You Will Do:

• Video Editing (YouTube & ScaleUp):

  Edit full-length podcast episodes. This includes multi-camera switching (if applicable), color correction, and ensuring a professional visual flow.

• Audio Engineering (Spotify):

  Deep cleaning of audio. You must know how to balance levels, remove background noise/echo, and master the audio to broadcast standards.

• Platform Management:

• Upload and manage the final video files on YouTube

  (including End Screens, Cards, and Chapters).
• Upload audio/video to

  Spotify

  (via Anchor/Spotify for Podcasters).
• Manage uploads to our proprietary platform,

  ScaleUp

  .

• Asset Creation:

  Design high-CTR Thumbnails for YouTube.

Who You Are:

• You are an expert in

  Adobe Premiere Pro

  and

  Audition

  (or DaVinci Resolve).
• You understand the difference between cutting and editing. You know how to pace a conversation so it feels natural, not choppy.
• You are organized. You can manage file versions and ensure everything goes live on time without supervision.

Experience:

• Proven experience editing long-form interview or educational content (15-25 minutes).
• Familiarity with YouTube SEO (titles, descriptions, tags) is a plus.
