PO & SAP Coordinator

This is a full-time on-site role as a PO & SAP Coordinator for our client location in Vadodara, Gujarat. As the PO & SAP Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the PO creation, amendment, and approval process. Your role will involve networking with various project teams for PO creation and approval, utilizing SAP processes, and maintaining effective communication between internal teams and external subcontractors. Your key responsibilities will include: PO Process Coordination: - Collecting and maintaining a database of orders placed by the department, including fresh orders and amendments. - Interacting with project teams and subcontractors to follow up on mandatory requirements for Purchase Order (PO) creation, such as order acceptance and the availability of Purchase Requisition (PR). - Updating the department's internal records for each order placement and amendment. PO creation and approval: - Obtaining draft PO from respective project PO creators along with mandatory supporting documents. - Getting the draft PO verified by respective subcontract engineers/buyers. - Submitting the PO to management for approval and following up for the same. - Coordinating Bank Guarantee (BG) submissions from subcontractors, where applicable. - Networking with the SAP team to identify and troubleshoot errors in SAP processes. - Preparing and circulating monthly reports on the PO placement process. Ariba Process Coordination: - Guiding subcontractors through the process of vendor code creation and approval through SAP Ariba. - Transferring POs from SAP to Ariba for digitalization and records. - Networking with the Ariba team to identify and troubleshoot errors. You should possess necessary software skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), SAP HANA MM module, and SAP Ariba. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) and relevant experience of 3 years or more.,
