Job Purpose Technology evaluation; Support to business opportunities and Upcoming Assets Scan technologies for – batteries for energy storage, electrolyser technologies for hydrogen. Propose applications Scouting technology for CO2 conversion to valuable chemicals, propose demo application. Evaluate business cases, carry out lifecycle analysis. Support Technology development & deployment Establish prototype testing and application labs, collaborate with R&D. Propose strategic engagement, work with OEMs Technology deep dive – redox reaction kinetics, electrode materials, mass transport, electrolytes, separators Scale up from Lab to Pilot to Commercial sizes. Develop energy storage applications like round the clock power. Integration with renewable energy Knowledge of various battery technologies, understanding technical advantages and limitations thereof of applications in energy storage Knowledge of electro synthesis processes viz. water electrolysers, etc. and Balance of plant (BOP) of these processes Hands on experience in batteries/ electrolysis is a added advantage Education Required Bachelors or Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from premium institute Experience Required Relevant industrial experience (10 years) with good technical background and good communication skills. Role & responsibilities Experience in maintenance of HEMM. Implementation of preventive & predictive maintenance practices. Monitoring of equipment breakdowns and maintenance activities. Hand on Experience with Heavy earth moving machinery (Loader, Excavator, Dumper, Dozer, etc.) Performs preventive maintenance inspections and on time service on machines. Daily coordination with the team with regards to all vehicles & machineries. Maintaining the optimum spares required for operating the equipment. Coordinating with store department to maintain spares inventory for critical items. Maintains and updates breakdown reports. Responsible for the efficient Asset Management of the Heavy Mining equipment by approaching maintenance as a continuous improvement process with the goal of safety, enhancing asset reliability and optimizing costs. Responsible for monitoring & audit of HEMM maintenance In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components in HEMM. Industry specific Experience:Discrete Machines / SPM / Machine Tool / Automation; Material Handling, Conveyor systems, Bulk Material handling. Should have worked on at least couple of engineering projects from start to finish (Scope, Specification, Idea, Concept Engineering and Cross-functional team experience. 3D CAD modelling and detailing engineering – should be able to create 3D modeling and associated 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T. Experience in CAD data management using PDM / PLM software. Adherence to CAD standards – ISO, ANSI, experience in MBD will be an added advantage. Knowledgeable in selection of mechanical OEM parts (sprockets, belts, etc.). Exposure to machine building, installation and commissioning will be an added advantage. Mandatory Skills:Good understanding of mechanical functions and principles. Ability to follow a prescribed engineering process. 3D CAD software proficiency:SolidWorks (Must) (in combination with SmartTeam) / Creo (added advantage) / Inventor (added advantage). Familiar with AutoCad 2D. Familiarities with Electrical / Controls / Pneumatics and hydraulics basics. Ability to work as teamMS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and remote desktop programs such as Teradici. Good in design calculations / basic FEA / selection of OEM parts. Conversant with Imperial and metric units. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience. Experience in OEM’s preferable.
