As a Maintenance Manager for plastic injection moulding machines, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the maintenance operations. You will be tasked with managing the upkeep of the injection moulding machines, troubleshooting and resolving hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues, as well as scheduling and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance plans. Additionally, you will be required to supervise and provide training to maintenance engineers, technicians, and support staff. It will be essential for you to maintain detailed maintenance logs, machine history records, and breakdown reports to ensure smooth functioning of the equipment. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in an injection moulding environment. A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/Diploma) is preferred. You should have a solid understanding of electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and mechanical components related to injection moulding machinery. Your expertise in circuit tracing, troubleshooting methodologies, and proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems will be crucial in identifying and resolving issues efficiently. Your knowledge of mechanical systems, including gears, bearings, motors, and drives, will play a key role in the operation and maintenance of injection moulding machines.
