As an Automation Engineer at the start-up specializing in Panel Bender located in Walshind (Thane-Nashik Highway), Bhiwandi, your primary responsibility will be to plan, test, and document machine performance in alignment with customer specifications. You will be required to configure systems, parameters, and control software to ensure optimal machine operation. Additionally, it will be your duty to guarantee that machines are running seamlessly and undergo quality checks before dispatch. Collaboration with internal teams for project updates and ensuring timely delivery will be crucial aspects of your role. You will also be expected to conduct machine demonstrations for customer acceptance before dispatch and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assemblies when necessary. Leading inspection, testing, and documentation of projects will also fall under your purview, along with providing support to service engineers and customers as needed. Reporting directly to the Head of Department for Machine Automation & Software, you must possess hands-on experience in sheet metal cutting processes and laser cutting technologies. A strong understanding of mechanical assemblies, drive systems, electrical & pneumatic circuits is essential, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and resolve errors swiftly. Previous exposure to software configuration is highly desirable. Your role will demand strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, as well as effective communication abilities in English. Demonstrating team leadership and proficient time management capabilities will be key attributes for success in this position. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation engineering disciplines, coupled with at least 3-4 years of experience in Laser Cutting Machine Start-Up, Testing, or Service. The standard office hours for this position are from 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.,
