With over 10 years of experience in a fast-paced consumer tech environment, you will be responsible for architecting, automating, and securing the companys MySQL/PostgreSQL infrastructure on AWS. Your role will involve designing and operating scalable, secure, and automated MySQL/PostgreSQL infrastructure on AWS, including RDS and EC2 services. You will lead efforts in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and scripting languages like Python, Bash, and Go to automate repetitive database operations. Optimizing query, schema, and system performance for high-throughput workloads will be a key focus area, along with executing major version upgrades with rollback planning and zero downtime. In this position, you will architect scale-out strategies such as replication, sharding, ProxySQL, Vitess, and Percona to support the companys growth across 30+ cities and 15M+ monthly orders.
