Role And Responsibilities As a senior analog design engineer at Connectpro, you will be responsible for taking a subsystem of analog design through all phases of the design process. This includes: Creating the architecture of the analog subsystem Providing technical leadership to the team during execution Designing, simulating, and supervising the layout and verification processes Evaluating and debugging silicon samples You will be working with the latest Cadence analogue design tools including Virtuoso Composer, Verilog, HSPICE, and other PC-based tools like Matlab. The circuits you will be working on involve mixed signal blocks such as switched capacitor amplifiers, PLL, RAM, high-speed interfaces, references, IO circuits, data converters, and digital building blocks. Your role will also involve ensuring timely execution and collaborating with cross-functional teams like PE/TE. Experience with custom layout and analog verification is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Analyze, measure, and optimize system performance across the full Linux stack kernel, drivers, user-space services, and applications. Profile CPU, memory, I/O, GPU, and power usage to identify performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Develop and deploy performance monitoring and tracing tools (e.g., perf, ftrace, eBPF, systemtap, trace-cmd, BPFtrace). Work closely with kernel, power, graphics, boot, and user-space teams to tune and enhance system responsiveness and throughput. Optimize boot time, application launch latency, and system suspend/resume cycles for better end-user experience. Tune scheduler, interrupt handling, memory management, and I/O subsystems for target hardware platforms. Validate performance under various workloads (interactive, background, thermal stress) and ensure consistent behavior. Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to align software performance with platform power and thermal constraints. Automate performance regression testing and define KPIs to track across software releases. Investigate and resolve thermal throttling, CPU/GPU frequency scaling, and battery drain issues in coordination with power and thermal teams. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Linux performance analysis and tuning on embedded or consumer platforms. Deep knowledge of Linux internals: process scheduling, memory management, NUMA, file systems, block devices, I/O stack, etc. Strong proficiency with performance tools: perf, top, htop, vmstat, iotop, powertop, ftrace, strace, systemtap, LTTng, eBPF, systemd-analyze, bootchart, blktrace, oprofile
