PMIC Analog Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be involved in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing electronic systems including circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems. You will work towards launching cutting-edge products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee definition, design, verification, and documentation of mixed signal circuits and/or products in the field of Power Management. - Execute design and verification strategies of PMICs under supervision from the technical lead. - Conduct functionality checks on a single block to ensure it meets specifications provided by the team lead with minimal guidance. - Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and advances in the Power Management field. - Participate in all aspects of the design process from system definition/specification to circuit design, simulation, and post-silicon debug. - Communicate complex information through written documents and verbally in meetings, requiring basic negotiation, influence, diplomacy, and tact skills. - Oversee layout and silicon evaluation, expected to have expertise in engineering disciplines like power electronics, control theory, data converters, analog front ends, linear amplifiers, and more. - Use design tools such as Cadence ADE, MathWorks MATLAB, Verilog/VerilogAMS, System Verilog, and others. - Actively participate in next-generation initiatives and innovation. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field. - Expertise in one or more of the following engineering disciplines: power electronics, control theory, data converters, analog front ends, linear amplifiers, references, and others.
