Role & Responsibility: To plan and execute the vehicle homologation projects in a time and cost bound manner. To interact with test agencies (ARAI, ICAT, CIRT etc.) and related authorities on homologation related issues. Regulatory Document Tracking, updates, compilation & information dissemination to relevant stakeholders. The candidate should have knowledge of AIS-052, AIS-153, UBS-II. The candidate should have knowledge of all the AIS 007 tables for brief technical specification. The candidate should have knowledge of TAC, COPs requirement as per AIS-037. Coordinate among various agencies inside PMI organization (Design, Carline/QA/SC etc.) for vehicle homologation requirements. To understand the VAHAN system & manage the data as per vehicles certificates. To prepare proposals worst case & plan testing vehicles accordingly. Study of MoRTH Notification, CMVR guidelines, Domestic IS, AIS standards. Regulation impact Analysis for New /Upcoming projects. Study, interpret & present technical regulatory documents and prepare the technical proposals The candidate should take care of existing and future model line-up thereby ensuring that vehicles meet Domestic Norms. Competency Requirements: Understanding of Indian and ECE Regulations. Project Management Skills to ensure timely completion of homologation Strength in core values like networking & partnership. Job Description – Sr. Engineer/AM (E&E Commodity) Experience: 2-4 years Department: Strategic Sourcing Location: Dharuhera, Haryana Role Overview: The Sourcing Engineer (E&E Commodity) will be responsible for developing, sourcing, and managing suppliers for electrical and electronics components, ensuring cost competitiveness, quality compliance, timely delivery, and alignment with company strategy. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Electrical & Electronics commodities (e.g., LV/HV wire, connectors, relays, sensors, controllers, PCBs, HV battery, Inverter components, etc.). Conduct supplier identification, evaluation, and onboarding in coordination with the Commodity Manager. Support cost reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations, value engineering, and alternative sourcing.
