Plumbing Design Draftsman/woman

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Plumbing Draftsman/Draftswoman to join our engineering team. As a Plumbing Draftswoman, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed plumbing drawings, layouts, and plans for various construction projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure that plumbing designs meet project objectives and comply with relevant building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create precise and detailed plumbing drawings, layouts, and plans based on project requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure plumbing designs meet project objectives and standards.
• Ensure that all plumbing designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Make necessary modifications and revisions to plumbing drawings as directed by project managers or engineers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all plumbing designs, revisions, and project correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to address any questions or concerns related to plumbing designs.
• Possess strong proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD tools.

Qualifications:

• ITI, or Diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in plumbing drafting or related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
