Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumber to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems within diagnostic and laboratory environments. This role requires a strong understanding of specialized plumbing systems, including those used for medical gases, deionized water, vacuum systems, and other laboratory-specific utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, and maintain plumbing systems including:

Laboratory sinks, eyewash stations, fume hoods, and safety showers

Gas lines (e.g., oxygen, nitrogen, compressed air)

Water purification systems (e.g., RO/DI)

Waste and vent systems specific to laboratory waste

Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and national codes, especially those related to medical and lab environments.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics specific to lab infrastructure.

Collaborate with laboratory managers, engineers, and other facility staff to plan and execute plumbing projects.

Perform preventive maintenance and timely repairs to minimize downtime of laboratory operations.

Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing-related issues in a timely and safe manner.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including maintenance logs and compliance records.

Follow safety protocols related to hazardous materials, pressurized systems, and confined spaces.

Qualifications:

Diploma or ITI in Plumbing

Minimum Experience 2-5 yrs
