You will be responsible for improving query efficiency, data pipeline performance, and overall reporting speed by tuning Snowflake environments, optimizing data models, and collaborating with Application development teams. Roles and Responsibilities Analyze and optimize Snowflake data warehouse performance to support high-volume, complex reporting workloads. Identify bottlenecks in SQL queries, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data models impacting report generation times. Implement performance tuning strategies including clustering keys, materialized views, result caching, micro-partitioning, and query optimization. Design and maintain efficient data models (star schema, snowflake schema) tailored for fast analytical querying. Develop and enhance ETL/ELT processes ensuring minimal latency and high throughput using Snowflake’s native features. Monitor system performance and proactively recommend architectural improvements and capacity planning.
