Description
Responsibilities Write, test, and debug PL/SQL code including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Design and implement database schemas, tables, and indexes. Perform data manipulation operations, including data loading and extraction. Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency. Work with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards. Support database maintenance tasks like backups, indexing, and query tuning. Technical and Professional Requirements: Primary skills: Technology->Oracle Apps Technical->Oracle Apps PL,SQL Preferred Skills: Technology->Oracle Apps Technical->Oracle Apps PL/SQL->PLSQL Additional Responsibilities: Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming. Good understanding of Oracle database architecture, including tables, views, and stored procedures. Knowledge of SQL tuning techniques and query optimization. Experience with database objects like cursors, collections, and exception handling. Basic understanding of database security models and data integrity constraints. Familiarity with version control for database scripts (e.g., using SVN, Git). Ability to use Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, or Toad.
